ML – 5500 Copper Based Compound
ML – 5500 is a premium low friction lubricant based on microsize amorphous copper, graphite and other proprietary solid lubricants. It is a lead and zinc free compound formulated using Multimetal Complex Soap Thickener because of its excellent performance at elevated temperatures and load. The formulation provides protection against seizing and galling etc. The high-performance additives enhance the rust and corrosion properties of the compound making it suitable for operations in diversified applications. A unique combination of solid lubricants and EP additives impart extremely high weld load to the compound thereby offering protection against metal to metal contact. Thus making it suitable for lubrication of open gear assemblies subjected to a very high load.

AREA OF APPLICATION
Recommended for use on all threaded connections in Oil Field, Drill Collar, Drill Pipe, Tools etc.
Also recommended for lubrication of Jack up Rig Leg Racks and Pinions.
