Mosil PM – 100 is purified molybdenum disulphide in powder form of fine particle size – average 10 micron.
Description
AREA OF APPLICATION
For lubrication of surfaces in which the relative motion is too small to allow the formation of an oil film – a boundary lubricant.
Wear-in: Protection against galling and seizure of newly machined surfaces.
Press Fitting: To reduce pressures required and prevent galling and seizure.
Release Agent: Prevents material from sticking together as in moulding and casting.
Cold Metal forming: To reduce friction and heat, lengthen life and prevent metal pick-up on punching and forming dies and all types of cutting tools.
Pre-assembly lubrication: Where maintenance lubrication is impossible or difficult due to inaccessibility of bearing.
Extreme Pressure and Anti-wear additive in components: To extend life or parts and reduce friction and distortion when blended into rubber, plastics or sintered metals.
Extreme Pressure and Anti-Wear additive in Lubricants: To fortify lubricating oils and greases in engines, gear sets, hydraulic components and general lubrication systems.
